Dome and Roofing Solutions (DRS) are experts in repairing the outer skins / membranes of your domes. We also specialize in roof restoration on large metal structures.

Protect Your Investment

Domes are terrific buildings. Efficient. Sturdy. Durable. But like all structures, you need to provide maintenance on your dome in order to protect your investment. Most domes are built with a fabric skin (or often called membrane) that only has a 10-12 year lifespan.  The UV from the sun is the most common form of damage. Other weather factors break down the skin as well.

Once the membrane shows signs of deterioration the structural integrity of the building begins to be compromised.

Just as no roof is permanent and will eventually need repaired and/or replaced, domes also must be repaired. Here at DRS we have the right solution to give you the peace of mind that your structure will last for many more years.

Signs That It’s Time to Repair Your Dome’s Skin

If your dome is approaching 10 years old or older, watch out for these signs.

  1. The first sign the skin of deterioration is the outside of the dome has a chalky film to it. Pay note not to confuse this with normal debris such as dirt or grime from the outside environment.
  2. There are flakes and peels on the outer skin.
  3. Visible tears or holes in the outer skin.
  4. Leaks and drip on the inside of the dome.

If you see any of these signs, contact DRS immediately to discuss repair options.  If your dome is older (10+ years) and you do not spot any of these signs yet, you may still want to schedule your maintenance now before you develop problems. Remember, with domes it is not a matter of if, it is a matter of when.

We are not only competitive with the other methods of restoration, and we offer a product that lasts longer and has the best guarantee. Contact us for more information on pricing and provide us with basic measurements of your structure.
